An article I was reading about bad breath?

Wednesday, March 9, 2011

I was reading an article that really freaked me out. It's about how bad breath is a sign of a serious health problem. I'm so scared because I think I have bad breath at times. I mean it's not like when I open my mouth people go "omg what died in here". But to me I think I have a little cause of bad breath - especially after I've just woken up. I brush my teeth, chew gum/eat mints to help. My dentist didn't even comment on my bad breath so it's probably not as bad as I think it is. He didn't say anything was wrong with my mouth/teeth other than needing the fillings and stuff. Does this article affect me? Should I worry about anything they mention? What would the kind of bad breath they're talking about be/smell like? Here's the actual link - http://www.aolhealth.com/healthy-living/dental-health-care/mouth-problems?icid=main|main|dl3|link6|http%3A%2F%2Fwww.aolhealth.com%2Fhealthy-living%2Fdental-health-care%2Fmouth-problems

I remember when I had a gum infection, I would at times get a strange metallic taste in my mouth that was most noticeable after waking up. It was quite different to the bad breath I use to get from eating lots of garlic and onion.
