How do you take care of your pet's dental health?

Wednesday, December 1, 2010

I know from experience with other dogs that dental health is vital to their 'quality of life'. Sam, my 11 year old yellow Lab resists brushing. I was at a pet supplies store and a woman who worked their suggested Greenies to use as a brushing supplement. They have worked wonders and at Sam's last check up his vet said she would be suggesting Greenies to all her patients with dental needs. Both Sam and Beau love the taste and I am glad they are getting care I've not been able to deliver them personally. Try them out, but be sure to buy the size meant for your pet (by weight)
