One difficult and under appreciated aspect of being a carer for people with dementia is dental/oral care-this can be difficult as particularly in the advanced stages the sufferer will not cooperate with you cleaning their teeth or actively resist you doing so.Any tips or advice please?

Get a dentist to take all their teeth out & fit dentures. Then when you want to clean their teeth- put a bucket of water & sterident in front of them & slap them on the back ... Voila! Teeth nice & clean :D
