Best Dental Insurance Plan?

I have no dental insurance, and was looking to get some. I'm talking cheap insurance. I was also wondering if you could just pay for each visit/services? That would eliminate the need for insurance. I'm just really poor, but my teeth need to be taken care of. Thanks.
