Dental implant care, a week or two later?

So about a week ago, maybe a bit longer I had two bottom implants. I know right after surgery its not okay to drink through a straw for the suction, but isn't that reserved for the sutures? In this instance, I don't think I had any sutures, not much bleeding to begin with. So I'm just wondering I'm going to a movie tonight and was wondering if I got a drink if it was okay to drink through the straw or if its best if I hold off until the crowns are in place. Thanks.

Suck away...you are fine. In this case you do not need a blood clot to protect the extraction site because there is no chance of dry socket. Have fun at the movies
