Can Indian dentists work as dental assistants in the USA?

Im a dentist from India. Im pursuing my MBA in Health Care Management at the University of North Alabama. I would like to know if I can work as a Dental Assistant or a Dental Hygienist with my Indian Dental degree here in the United States either as an Intern or till I take up my NBDE. If I can, are there any recruiters I can contact for this?

All positions (Hygienist and Dentist) will require institutional training and a degree. Therefore, will not be possible until you go to school here. However, you CAN to get in touch with a dentist and get a job. The dentist can train you on the job to become a dental assistant. That is perfectly legal. However, you will have to have a Job Visa (J1 Visa), Permanent Residency or Citizenship in the US. Otherwise, even that won't be possible.
