My mother is 50 years old. She has high blood pressure but can't afford the medicine to help it. Her knee that she had surgery on 5 years ago is starting to ache. She has this weird lump growing on her left upper rib. She NEVER eats. She goes to the bathroom all the time. Plus she really needs dental care. I'm 14 so I really don't have any idea how to help. Is there any programs that she can get on?
--------------------
There are some programs that help with the cost of drugs. Walmart has one of those programs, and some pharmacies do as well. The knee has probably some arthritic changes that have occurred after surgery, given your Mom's age. The weird lump cannot be diagnosed over the Internet. Encourage her to have it looked at. Going to the bathroom all the time can be age related, poor bladder tone or a multitude of other problems. Getting help for her depends on where you are located, her financial situation and some other factors. Talk to her about your concerns. Tell her how much you care for her and that you are concerned. She may get some help!!
