I am a college student (but my parents don't have insurane either so I'm not covered under theirs) and don't have tons of money for the dentist. One of my molars has a little hole in it though so I know I need to go to the dentist. What is the most affordable way for me to have this taken care of? Thank you.

Actually there are a few options...you can go see if you qualify for medicaid (that pays for dental as well just not a lot of dentists take it). If not...contact a local dental school....they might have free clinics for the students to work on people right before they take their boards. OR you can contact the health department. They have low-cost care...they might offer dental as well, or put you in touch with someone who does. Also call around...some dentists will accept payments plans (providing that you pay a percentage up front). And remember...the longer you wait for treatment...the more expensive it will cost. (i.e. needing it pulled or a root canal) So don't wait too long. Good luck.
