Army dental care?

When I join the army will they pay for braces?
--------------------
yes, and no. Active Duty members, who are determined to have a medical need for them, can get them at no cost while in a non deployable status only.. that means if you are in a Training command for at least as long as the braces will need to be on. Several friends did it while at NPS and DLI while we lived at Monterey, as they are each long schools. However, otherwise, they will not allow them to be done. Family members must enroll in the dental insurance, and the cap is $1500 per minor child( adults are not covered)
