help with dental care in uk .. i am a 30yr old woman with servere self esteme/confidence issues?

i am in need of urgent dental care both cosmeticly and for health reasons, since i was as younge as i can remember i have been bullied and felt extremely consous of my teeth, i have tried dentists on sevral occasions but all they have managed to do is rip that last ounce of self respect u cling onto to get u there, i no my teeth are in a bad way i dont even have pics done with my kids coas im that ashamed i want to get this sorted out not only for my self confidence but for my kids, becouse i havent been to dentist insome time i cant get onto a nhs dentist.. and to go private is not an option as we can barley afford to get threw month let alone those costs... is there anywhere in uk that offer help to people like myself this is takin over mylife now i no i need to do somthing soon but i just dont no who or what to do .. i live in yorkshire uk ... i would appreciate any input
