i am on maternity leave and have free dental care at the mo, ?

so the dentist has just finished work on a tooth that needed root canal filling and then a crown, but instead of a full crown, he has only put half one in, leaving the outer tooth still there... i am in pain and have had antibiotics, but the pain is unbearable, what can i do ?

Sometimes dentists do root canal treatment over two appointments so its possible he hasn't finished your treatment, or it is possible that the dentist hasnt been able to remove all of the nerve from the root canal and this is why its still giving you pain, either way you should phone and tell them that you are in a lot of pain and they will be able to help you.
