My dental care? How long do I need to wear braces?

Im 13 and I have pretty bad overcrowding. I haven't been to the dentist in quite a while but I generally take good care of them. I have overcrowding and i'm wondering how long I have to wear braces or routainers?

Every individual is different. It depends on each aspect of the problems that you have. I have braces right now, but before I got them, I thought the only problem I had was overcrowding-turns out I had an overbite, turned teeth, and the top row was out of line with the bottom. You never know until the day you actually get them off. And retainers can be worn for almost ever to keep your teeth in line. Good luck when you get them though!
