dental discount plan - Carington care 500?

Does anyone have any experience with Carington Care 500 dental discount plans? I've found different costs ($128 - $140 ) for it from various places on the internet. + I was wondering if anyone knows if it's benefits are better than the discount benefits from blue cross blue shield. I already have blue crosses discount card. I'm going to ask my dentist about it, but I wanted to know if anyone had bad experiences with it.
