i need dental care but can not afford the fees?

i my teeth are ok, apart from the front right one,i had root canal on it when i was about 12 and it has stayed in since, it was chipped so i got a fake bit of tooth, but it started to hurt today. im scared of dentist and have not been for a while now, as what happened to my tooth was a painfull and lengthy process. i am also a student, i have a small job but no where near enough for dental fee's, is there anyway i could receive help with this as it is not purely cosmetical ? answers much appreciated.

If you registered with an NHS dentist and get JSA, tax credit, are pregnant, have had a baby in the last 12 months [don't know if your male or female!!] or have a HC2 or 3 certificate you get free dental treatment! ONLY WITH NHS THOUGH!
