would i be able to use my compensation money to get dental care?

i am 15 and when i was younger i was involved in a car crash and i got compensation, i was just wondering if anyone knows if i would be able to pay for braces out of my compensation because my mum said she hasn't got the money to pay for them and the dentist said that if the NHS think my teeth are not that bad, they wont let me have them free, and that they can cost around £1.500 can anyone help?

Get a second opinion from another NHS dentist just don`t tell him/her about your compensation package,eventually you may have to disclose it will depend upon circumstance.Good Luck
