I need to know about health care/dental care anyone have any wisdom to share?

I'm 18 and don't live at home any more I did have the free medi-cal/madi-care thingy but mum said it ran out what do I do??? and I don't have a job to pay for health care and such

Go down to your local court house and ask about any state funded health care.Here in Wisconsin we have Badger Care and a list of other state funded( paid by the taxpayers) health care.In the interim try to find a job, I know I know in this economy easier said than done.There is allot of help out there you just have to do research before you go and bring any information you print off the internet. The Insurance Information Institute 1-800-331-9146 State Insurance Department( look up on the internet I don't know what state you are in) www.insure.com e-mail your state and local politicians, they love to earn points with voters by helping you out.When I had insurance problems , I had phone calls up the wazoo from politicians trying to help and help they did.Contact your state's Better Business Bureau, they can at least provide what insurance companies are reputable and less costly.Good luck
