my teeth have been crooked since they came in and my parents never got them fixed. i am almost 24 now and i have learned to pretty much live with it, but when someone points it out or i have to talk about it, i get really uncomfortable. i dream of the day i have straight teeth. i mean they are really bad. i take care of them, they are just really really crooked. i think it would change my looks completely. however, i can not afford to go to the dentist as bad as it sounds for anything much less that kind of work. i have no insurance, nor can i get it and i know it is very expensive. Invisalign looks the best but it is expensive too. any suggestions. serious answers only please.

The only option I could give you would be search around. There may be dentists that are willing to do payment plans that you could stretch out a period of time before the braces are removed, if thats actually what you need. The dentist will take your payments and if he has not recieved the whole payment then he will not remove the braces. i am not sure if alot of dentists do this, but I know a few that do. I do not think there are any other options for you, also insurance does not cover orthodontic work after the age of 19, so even if you had dental insurance I'm pretty sure that wouldn't help. I hope this helps!
