A family that has 2 parents working making a total of $65,000 a year but whose employers offer no health insurance and has to buy their own discovered that to get some decent health insurance coverage that covers regular doctor visits, emergencies, hospital stays, surgeries, tests, dental, vision, pharmaceuticals etc..... at a rate of 80% and with a $250 deductible per person per year would cost them at least $1000 a month. Obviously this is prohibitively expensive. What kind of society allows for people to be gouged for their staying alive and health needs like this???
