I paid $2800 for Invisalign braces that I wore for 24 weeks (20 trays). At 24 weeks Orthodontist said I needed to pay for 6 brackets for braces on my lower bottom teeth at a additional cost of $689. I then wore these for 5 months, they were removed and Yes my bottom teeth are straight but they are literally laying down. There was not enough room in my mouth for these teeth, he told me he was going to shave them down but never did. I asked twice during treatment and he told me it was not necessary. Now my bottom teeth have basically buckled. The establishment he works for wants to charge ME another $800 + $130 per visit to fix them. I am outraged!! He the orthodontist has offered to get the brackets from his private practice at no cost but still charge me the $130 a visit, probably 5-6 visits. I feel the care I have received is sub standard and honestly do not want them touching me let allowing shaving anything at this point. I would like to get my teeth fixed elsewhere and file a small claim against the establishment. Any advice is appreciated. I know nothing about the law and choose my battles wisely and I cant let this one go. Thanks in advance.

Read the fine print of the contract. It's your smile!! You just spent a few thousand dollars fixing it. I can understand not wanting to work with this dentist anymore. Go somewhere else and finish the job... You will ultimately be happier. For this company: There is probably some kind of statement in it, that says they can only fix the teeth as good as they can fix them (not necessarily the way you want them fixed). There is probably another statement that says something about results not being as good with invisalign as they would be with traditional treatment. If those aren't there... take them to small claims court.
