what's wrong with my dental implant?

about 2 months ago, few implants were inserted into the upper jaw and after the first stitches were removed I've noticed that there was this little tiny infection on the right side of the gum so went back to the dentist he told me that the bone graph in there that might have caused the infection therefore needed to get cleaned (bone graph) then he peeled back the gum used a laser to clean the area (he told me that the implant is in good condition therefore he won't remove it) then he stitched back and asked me to come back in five days in order to remove the stitches. After the stitches have been removed I started tasting something weird like a metal or something but I didn't really care thought it would go away in few days but this morning I just noticed a blackish color on that area and I took a closer look into it it's like the part of the implant and I'm nervous and panicked at the moment and the thing is the dentist is closed on sundays but will go tomorrow my question is why would this happen? have you ever heard something similar to this? thanks in advance.
