Pulled tooth socket had the "clot" come off, so what to do?

My dental assistant told me everything to do, just slush water around in my mouth, and eat only very soft foods to take care of the "clot" or scab on my gum. But the clot that I have been so careful with has come off! This is the one thing i forgot to ask, what to do if it came off. Anyone know???

It should be fine, just part of the healing process. Just eat on the other side of your mouth and eat soft foods- nothing too cold or hot and you will be fine.
