dental Xray for pregnant ??

iam 16 weeks pregnant and ihave histry of preterm labour and my doctor suspect the cause is dental infection i have bad teeth and chronic gengevitis so my doctor ask me to take extra care to my teeth.my denteste ask me to did dental xray after the first trimester I did it after my obg said its ok thy double shield me but am realy worried about my baby I feel its too for him to tolerate it but iwas also worried about the risk of infection.please help any mom did early xray and have normal baby??

your fine i had a dental x ray befor e i knew i was preg..i read about it and it says its safe since its so far away from your baby and they shield you..if you were double shielded your fine..its ok to worry im preg with my third and i still worr just not as bad as my first. i really put a lot of stress on myself worrying about everything and bith babies are beautiful...good luck and congrats
