I am a nursing student..but my heart has always been in the dental field..(advice needed)?

I have lots of family in the medical field..mainly nurses...I LOVE CARING FOR PEOPLE don't get me wrong here...but I always was amazed with dentistry. I'm in nursing school right now..and I don't like it and I'm going crazy because I have invested so much time, energy, and money in my schooling only to find out I don't like it!!..it's honestly really stressful and it seems like you can never give all the care needed to all your patients because of the large workload you have..and this upsets me. What is your advice...I honestly feel i should just stick with nursing..and suck it up.. even though I NOW know I truly want to be a dental hygienist. I'm still very young..no kids..and single..but in this economy I don't know if i want to back track i gues..i just feel lost...i feel immature because i should have known i didn't have to get into nursing just because its in the family ..any advice or suggestions? I just want to be happy career-wise..
