Can I take my ex-husband to small claims court for daycare expenses from the past year?

Our divorce decree states that he is responsible for 54% of all work-related child care & medical/dental expenses... but he hasn't paid a red dime since I went back to work a little over a year ago. I receive child support of only $136/month; it's garnished from his paycheck... He has stopped taking visitation with our daughter (HIS choice), so I suppose he thinks he shouldn't have to pay? I do have a court order (our divorce decree) that states otherwise... what steps should I take now?

This is an easy one. He is required by the divorce decree to pay up. All you need to do is go back to the divorce court and prove that you have been paying these expenses without reimbursement. You will need a copy of all receipts for the court file, keep a copy for yourself, but most importantly make sure that you have copies for the ex EVEN IF you have already given him copies. Go through the court system. That is where the decree was established. That is where it will be enforced.
