in case the mos i want isnt available when i go to the meps my rec said i should have an alternate choice ready, which would be best??? dental tech, pharmacy tech, preventive medicine, animal care tech, vet food inspector, patient administator, or 88k water craft operator?? please help any input appreciated.

A better option is to walk out if the "don't have any slots" in your first choice. They'll have to work harder to get you that MOS, but they'll do it if they know you have no problem walking out. They can put you in whatever MOS you want. It's just a matter of whether or not they want to.
