Single mothers receive many more benefits than mothers who are married. ie health care cards, free dental, some receive reduced rent, reduced bills, reduced vehicle registration etc. Will married mothers always be reprimanded for marrying and trying their best to accord themselves in what society expected from them? Or should married mothers divorce to be less dscriminated upon?...Would love to see peoples thoughts on the issue...Thanxabunch all :-)

Hey, im a married mom. I can see where you are coming from. It has alot to do with financial security basically a married mom has a partner and between them both are able to bring stability and security to the family. WHile on the other hand a single mom doesnt have that and needs help in order to give her child the same to a certain level. Me im happy where i am, i dont feel discriminated on honestly would not like to be receiving benefits when i can provide for my children thru sweat and tears.

Will married mums ever receive the same benefits as single moms, or will married mums remain reprimanded?
