Muscles, Nutrition and Being Healthy

In this modern world we live in, awareness and sophistication seem to be the indicator and standard for success. Nutrition may not be left behind as a consideration. But it is not nutrition per se that is the focus of awareness, unfortunately. It is good looks first closely followed by physical fitness. Everybody has to look sexy to be fashionable. Physical fitness gyms make money out of this awareness. And it is so for practical reasons.
Hectic schedules and too much time on the desk and the computer almost leave us too exhausted for a daily brisk walking routine to stay healthy. We could have squeezed in a few minutes each day on our own exercise equipment. But we psychologically run out of time and are always feeling too tired. The exercise equipment was supposed to have been the convenient answer to the lack of time problem but most people find themselves wrong in having decided on its purchase. It is not so much for the lack of time or exhaustion than the psychological indolence that continues to plague man since time immemorial.
The fact is it easier to workout with many others of our kind in a physical fitness gym. Whatever he does, man wants to do it with fun. Hence, the popularity of the practical physical fitness gym despite owning rather expensive exercise equipment that just gathers dust at home.
Serious physical fitness gyms have standard programs that include diet and lifestyle regimen. These are almost always aimed at bodybuilding which is beyond the average citizen's goal. Some gym members become hooked to the habit and develop muscles that are not really necessary for their jobs and domestic activities. But they do it out of vanity. They feel sexy and strong and sometimes overdo it that their muscles already look deformed. They struggle even at weightlifting and females start to look intimidating because of overly hard and large muscles that they look more masculine than some men.
It is good to look and feel sexy but intense physical exercises with that special diet for bodybuilding are just too much for ordinary people. The body does not need the shape and strength of Superman or the Incredible Hulk. We just need to be fit and healthy. Proper nutrition is all we need and not any fancy regimen that burns a lot of money to unnecessarily burn made up fat. Being healthy does not require being superhuman. Just eat the right amount of food in the right quantity and burn just enough calories to get rid of excess cholesterol and you will be healthy as a baby. Just being normal in its true sense is the best thing that we can do.
