For Brittish people: questions about medical dental care in England?

Tuesday, November 2, 2010

Hi there. Can you please tell me if it is true that its hard to find a doctor and especially a dentist in England these days (as I have read) and also, what is the average cost for a visit to the dr and denstit, etc. Thanks so much.
--------------------
doctors aren't hard to find and are free-you may have to try a few to get a practice that is taking on new patients but there are still plenty around. finding an NHS dentist however is another story-there aren't enough to meet demand so many people get dental insurance(£12-20 monthly on average) or just pay as they go privately-it's £44 near us for a check up and around £70 for a filling-cost vary at different practices.
