I just got back from a cleaning at the dentist. It was my first visit in 7 years. The dentist did the cleaning, and it couldn't have taken more than 5 minutes. Is this normal?? I take pretty good care of my teeth, but come on, 5 minutes? He also didn't get my wisdom teeth, which was the reason why I made an appt for a cleaning. I can't clean very good back there, and one of them is under a pocket of gum. He scraped my teeth with that scraper (and made my teeth bleed A LOT), flossed (verry quickly-30 seconds), and polished (also very quickly-1 minute). I brush my own teeth longer than that. >:( How long should this cleaning have taken? Obviously, I am going to look for a new dentist...

that should have taken more then 5 minutes...probably should have taken 15-20 minutes
