Why do Americans hate the Canadian health system so much?

If you even mention the health care system in Canada, Americans post all sorts of nasty things. Why should they care? Are they so jealous and petty? Many Americans who live near the border travel to Canada for our health and dental care. They have to pay cash but get it for a fraction of what it costs in the US. I bet you didn't know that you Yankee dogs. Why don't you just worry about your own health care problems and leave us alone? If we want it changed, we will change it.

I'm an American and am extremely envious of your health care system. Our government down here only cares about making money for businesses, and the citizens come second. It's a shame that as one of the most powerful countries in the world, there are people going bankrupt because they suffer an illness one time and don't have insurance--leaving them $100,000 in debt. It's all a joke. I'd gladly move to Canada if they'd take me.
