you know how you can go to a place where they teach ppl to cut hair and get your hair cut there for 1/4th of the cost? the same can be done at dental schools and medical centers for low cost care.. im wondering if this is true for cosmetic surgery? if so does anyone know anything about this? thanks!

No, no and hell no!!!! When student (especially Plastic surgeons) are learning to train they work with more experienced surgeons. Many so-called 'cosmetic' surgery has its origins in medical need: Plastic Surgeons deal with soft tissue (not plastic as some idiots think!) Dermatologist deal with skin conditions (not just facial rejuventation) and whilst 'Cosmetic Surgeons' often end up doing non-essential surgery, their training takes place in a hospital improving the cosmetics of people who REALLY need it - such as car accident victims or people with cancer. Whilst they must be qualified doctors to begin their training -and even then, they have to be the best of the best to be considered for specialist training, if they are unaccredited, then the legally cannot perform surgery on you. This is why they have medical licences - if they operate on you without one, they can go to jail!!!!!
