Do to the shortage of teachers in collage and university I hear the goverment is starting to charge people who go to collage and university .The shortage of teachers in the UK and England is so bad people have t waint a year or more to get into collage and university . I hear the UK and England it is going to start to cost money in much the same way of dual health care happing now in the UK and England of state run and private.Where the poor get free health care and wait in line and the people have money pay and jump in the front of the line. And much the same they have done to dental care and eye care..

If you are a UK citizen you get a loan which covers your fees and which is not payable until you are earning over £15,000 a year. I'm not aware of a shortage of teachers. London Universities and colleges (not collage - that's a piece of artwork made with different bits and pieces) are notoriously oversubscribed. This means that the better your qualifications, the more chance you have of getting a place. A lot more people are getting more A-levels nowadays and trying to get into higher education than ever before which is why there is more competition - nothing to do with lack of teachers, just lack of spaces. It is not true that the NHS lets people with money "jump the line". If you have a life threatening condition then you are seen straight away and the NHS will save your life for free and treat all chronic conditions in the same way as they would private patients. The time that private health care is useful is if you have a niggling complaint which does not affect your day to day life such as a skin condition or something. You can then see a specialist straight away. The other benefit is that you get your own room in a hospital rather than sharing one on a ward. Dental care is still free for all children up to school leaving age, pregnant women, the elderly and those on certain types of benefits (low earners). The NHS dentists have their fees capped so you never pay more than a set amount no matter how much work you need done. Eye care is free for all children, the elderly, low earners and those with a family history of glaucoma. Again, NHS eyecare is a set amount so you never pay more than that. Medical prescriptions again are free for children, low earners and contraception is free. If you use a lot of medication you can buy a "season ticket" saving yet more money. The NHS saved my husband's life and are some of the hardest workers this country has.
