Why is it Americans are so obsessed with their teeth?

They want to have them pure white and shiny to look like silly Hollywood stars when actually they could just be fake teeth which is even stupider. What I don't get is that most of them are obsessed with dental care but they don't take care of their weight. Again, it is not all Americans I'm talking about, it's these idiotic wannabe stars. They look down on other countries saying that Europeans have bad teeth just because they aren't perfect! Everyon'es teeth in Europe are fine, they don't have to be perfect! That makes me really annoyed along with everyone else. I know obviously you have to pay attention to detail and look after your hygiene and brush your teeth and that, but you really don't need to exaggerate on dental! And they should quit making fun of other countries as well of their teeth because it isn't fair on them.
