I am in need of dental treatment and have just moved house. What is the best way of getting treatment? Will i have to apply for a dentist or can the NHS help?

NHS Direct should be able to give you details of a local NHS dentist. You just need to call up and ask if their NHS list is open to new patients. If there isn't one locally watch out for new surgeries opening or ask neighbours for recommendations.
