Why does the government want my children and I to curl up and die, because we can't afford health care?

I am an unemployed mother of three collecting unemployment. I lost my home because I could no longer afford pay my mortgage payments. I moved into an affordable housing complex, and am collecting unemployment. Yet, if my child gets an ear infection, or has to have a dental exam, I can not afford it. The job market is awful as of now. I had a job, I was laid off. Why should my children suffer?
