I have gaps on both sides of two front teeth cause I had a shitty orthodonist who put a permanent retainer on the back of my two front teeth ONLY instead of my whole front. So, everything spaced out to how it was before I had braces instead of my front teeth of course. Im so self concious of the gaps, I dont think gaps are a good look on me. Ive even had my doctor offer veneers to me before, which further prove my speculation that theyre pretty noticeable. Im training to be a dental assitant soon, do they give discounts on dental care including veneers?

Depends on the dental office. Most will have a policy which states what level they will cover their employees at. If this influences where you will work, best to find that info out from the office ahead of time. Also, you might want to consider "bonding" composite as that is cheaper and more conservative (though not as long lasting and not quite as esthetic).
