Denied Care Credit?

Sunday, January 9, 2011

I need dental work done that equals to $2500, so I applied for care credit. I am just starting to build my credit, so I guess you can save I don't have any- I haven't received the reason for being denied just yet, but I'm guessing my lack of credit is why. I asked my Dad to file on behalf of me (his credit, but I of course would pay him) but he was also denied (he has a 'good' or 'fair' credit score) but does have a judgment on his credit. If I applied again, with him as my co-signer, would it make any difference at all? What other options do I have besides care credit???

Actually, you might be better off on your own if your father has a judgment on his credit reports. You might be able to find an orthodontist/dentist who will accept a payment plan for the bill. This is quite common. Just pay your bill on time every month.
