I am having a tooth coloured brace fitted next week what should I expect?

I would like to know any care tips, or experiences from those with a recently fitted dental brace. Will it hurt, what can I eat and not eat, etc etc!

k, i had braces too, but not the tooth coloured ones. some of my friends had them, and you have to be careful..see, if you dont take care of them properly, itll stain, and itll look really bad. for example, say you got some curry stain on it, itll look like its actually on ur tooth..just be carefull for that. opne more tip..when u get them off, u will probably get a retainer. when they tell u to always wear it, they MEAN always wear it..i never wore mine, and my teeth in the back got a tiny bit more crooked, and the top retainer doesnt fit me anymore... good luck. oh, and expect it to kill evry time you get them tightened. just thought i should warn you. :)
