What if we had 300 Million John McCains?

Sunday, March 13, 2011

If everyone in America grew up as McCain did, wouldn't we be a nation-full of Maverick, Heroic Patriots? If every child in this nation could grow up and never have to worry about: A sense of Patriotic righteousness ( a job for life with public respect) Free housing Free health care, Free dental Free Education Free Neighborhood Security and Emergency services Free Recreational Facilities and Wholesome activities Free Global Travel Free meals Free Clothes Tax-free stores for everything else All of this free for you and all of your family members. Following this formula as we did as taxpayers when we afforded the McCain's all of the above, couldn't we afford this same opportunity to all Americans? Who knows, me might make a nation-full of John McCains?
--------------------
Shortly after being captured by the North Vietnamese they discovered that McCain's father was a serving four-star admiral. They offered McCain early-release--before other POWs that had been captured before him--in the hopes that he would take it and humiliate his father. If McCain had accepted early-release it would've been a propaganda victory for the North Vietnamese. He steadfastly refused and endured five-and-a-half years of torture. Question: What if America had 300-million John McCains? What if America had 300-million citizens willing to serve in their nation's wars as needed--without acting like cry-babies--and if captured conducted themselves as heroically as John McCain did? Answer: this nation would *truly* be a force to be reckoned with. In this election one candidate has been publically endorsed by the leadership of Cuba, Iran, North Korea and the terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah. (Don't believe me? Google it). Think about what that says about that candidate. Yesterday I voted for the candidate who went to war for America, like I did (and before me my father). --Jeff in Houston, Texas; Master Sergeant, U.S. Army (Reserve), Retired P.S.
