I'm leaving my abusive husband, what am I entitiled for with child support in Canada?

SORRY FOR ALL THE DETAILS PLEASE PLEASE I NEED HELP AND I'M WORRIED ABOUT MY CHILD! my husband is an extreme mama's boy, he has over $50,000 in his account, he gives me no money or allowance, I've already asked for $40 per wk and he said NO with so many other words (his income is $1,600.00 per wk) I am not working since over a yr I've got laid off with my savings I've been living off of my credit card to buy cloths for my son, snacks sometimes with school and the odd school raffles, I buy all gifts at xmas for my son and address all 'from mom and dad', even my own dental bills and my sons dental bills I take care of he does nothing other than pay the bills, buy lavish groceries what him and his parents need....an average grocery bill is $300 per wk or sometimes $200 and he pays for his parents groceries, although they have more than enough money , came here as immigrants and now have disability there is a lot more to this but recently his dad cussed me on the phone his mom called me yelling and cursing too and wen I told my husband this he swore at me in front of my four yr old..there's nothing I can say bk to him bc my child is there which just makes me break down and cry,, bc they accussing me of BLACK MAJIC bc their daughter had a string of bad luck....I'm far from this God and Jesus is my only master also he's an alcoholic and was already treated for ulcer, he drinks at home every night about 3-8 beers ON WORK NIGHTS, and gets drunk most wk ends at his parents house because my husband spends his wk ends with them not us..........and he drinks with his father my plans are to leave nx wk with my 4 yr old going to my friends so she'll drive me around to see what help i can get......if his income is $6,400 per month and I'm not working I hope to find a cheap basement and have him pay the rent, babysitting fees ( bc I will be looking for a job) food etc........AM I ENTITLED TO THIS WE HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR ALMOST 12 YRS............ all I want is about $2,500 a month which is not even half of his income..he makes $6,400 per month..........plus I would like $20,000 from his account since he has $57,000 saved already 2 days ago - 6 days left to answer. Additional Details I am in Ontario I AM IN ONTARIO......AND HE MAKE A FLAT RATE OF $1,600 PER WK AFTER TAX

if you leave the house he can claim abandonment, furthermore if you take the child he can claim kidnapping. your plan is not smart. not smart at all. you need to go see a lawyer, if you can not afford one (consultation may be anywhere between $50 to $200), you can check to see if your husband's job has employee assistance (such as warren sheppell), and you can get the name of a lawyer or get a consultation. talking to the lawyer will give you all of your options financially. my guess is you probably need to have a legal separation first. the legal separation will allow you to secure the financial and custody obligations. if you are not working you will be entitled to spousal support. i know you are probably in pain and just want to move on, but you have a child need to make sure you can provide a stable home for him, so muster up all the strength you can and stay until you have everything worked out. then leave. lastly, time to work sister. you need to start thinking about going back to school or getting job. there are many benefits to this 1) you will get health benefits, 2) it will keep you busy and keep your mid off of the situation AND 3) gives you further financial support. I have provided you with links from teh ontario government, which talks about child support and in the second link is the actual work book used to figure out the child support amounts. spousal support, should you be entitled will be worked out separately. good luck (and get a job)
